AI is having its moment, and for small businesses the noise-to-signal ratio is brutal. Stripped of the hype, a few uses genuinely save time today: drafting and editing copy, summarising customer messages, generating first-pass product descriptions, and speeding up routine code.

Where it’s still mostly noise: anything that needs real accountability, nuanced judgement, or your specific business context that the model has never seen. Treat AI as a fast junior assistant, not an oracle.
